About the role

As an integral part of the IT training team you will be mainly responsible for assisting the team with a number or software rollouts that are ongoing over the next 6-12 months.  This is a fast paced training environment so you must be able to take direction, have a co-operative attitude and be a team player. Broadly your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of classroom based training (in our Sydney, Melbourne and Perth offices).
  • Development of training materials.
  • Designing eLearning modules and the delivery of video training.
  • Assisting with testing of new software applications.
  • Maintenance of training records.
  • Identification of training needs.
  • Assist with other ad hoc training requirements as and when required.

About you

The successful candidate will ideally have a VETAB Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training qualification (or other adult education training qualification), a minimum of 2 years IT training experience in a legal or professional services firm and the following skills and attributes:

  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook; Office 2010; DMS and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with Articulate or an equivalent eLearning tool.
  • Experience in preparing classroom style and online training materials.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in delivering training.
  • Good planning and organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Relationship building skills.
  • A professional, mature and proactive approach.
  • Co-operative, easy going personality.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team environment.
